AFPEBSO receives P100K donation for Scholars

CAMP AGUINALDO, QUEZON CITY – The AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) received Php100,000.00 from UNTV Cup Season 5 on Tuesday, 14 March 2017 at Smart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.

BGEN ARNEL M DUCO AFP, received the symbolic check during the UNTV Cup Season 5 Finals. He was accompanied by AFPEBSO Chief/General Manager, CDR DWIGHT STEVEN M DULNOAN, other staff and AFP scholars. 

The AFP Cavaliers Basketball Team donated their winnings to help scholars of the AFPEBSO finish their education. 

The UNTV Cup is a basketball league organized by UNTV and headed by Mr. Daniel Razon, which is conducted annually wherein government officials and public servants compete for their chosen charities.

The AFP Educational Benefit System is a morale and welfare organization of the AFP which has been providing educational assistance to qualified dependents of military personnel. It caters particularly to the disadvantaged orphans whose parents perished or were incapacitated in combat.
