LTC Flores receives Gold Cross Medal after fight with ASG
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año congratulates 32nd Infantry Battalion Commander LtCol Ramon Flores in an awarding ceremony held at the JTF Sulu Headquarters in Jolo, Sulu 7 March 2017. LtCol Flores was awarded a Gold Cross Medal for leading his troops in an encounter with the Abu Sayyaf Group in Panamao, Sulu on 31 January 2017 that resulted to the death of 12 and wounding of five terrorists under ASG sub-leader Alhabsy Misaya.
