CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) celebrated its 88th Anniversary in a culminating program with the President of the Republic of the Philippines and the AFP Commander-in-Chief, His Excellency Ferdinand R Marcos Jr as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on December 21 at the Lapu-lapu Grandstand.

Walang puwang sa usapang pangkayapaan ang pag-uusap, ni pagpapahiwatig, higit lalo kahingian, para sa pagsuko ng National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) o ng armadong rebolusyonaryong pakikibaka sa Pilipinas. Ito ang pahayag ni Kasamang Luis G. Jalandoni, Senior Adviser sa Negotiating Panel ng NDFP, sa harap ng sunud-sunod na pahayag ng mga upisyal ng Gubyerno ng Republika ng Pilipinas (GRP) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na naglalarawan sa usapang pangkapayapaan bilang usapang “pagpapasuko.”

COTABATO CITY –Colorful boats filled the country’s second largest river as the Bangsamoro people commemorated Tuesday, December 19, the arrival of Islamic missionary Shariff Kabunsuan in Mindanao to introduce Islam on the natives of the island.
