2 NPA Surrenders anew to 60IB in Davao del Norte

Davao del Norte - Two NPA members identified as Ronnie Lantayona Andoy alias Jay and Ryan Buca Metoda alias Dennis, voluntarily surrendered to the soldiers of 60th IB on peace outreach mission in Brgy Suawon, New Corella, Davao del Norte around 10:00 a.m. January 14.

The surrenderees revealed that they were members of the NPA Sandatahang Yunit Propaganda (SYP), Front 33, of the Southern Mindanao Regional Committee (SMRC) operating in Davao del Norte. They are tasked to recruit new members and assist the armed group in attacking civilians and properties.

They confessed that they can no longer take the anti-people and deception works of their NPA leaders like burning of construction equipment used in government projects for the localities.
