Army deploys 158 Lts to field units
FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Philippine
Army will deploy 158 new lieutenants to the field units this week in
line with its regular deployment program of new officers.
More or less 30% of the lieutenants will go to field units in Mindanao, while the rest will be distributed to the Army field units in Luzon, Visayas and the Army’s special and support units such as Special Operations Command and armor units.
The 158 new officers who have recently completed their career orientation conducted by the Army Personnel Management Center were members of the Officer Preparatory Course class 64-2015, Officer Candidate Course class 45-2015, and Philippine Military Academy class 2016.
Col. Benjamin L. Hao, chief of the Army public affairs said that the officers are now fully equipped with the right training, knowledge and skills to become officers of the Philippine Army. #
