FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Philippine Army Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) celebrates its 58th founding anniversary here, today, July 2.

“As we move forward for another year, I urge you to continue not only to be soldiers of peace and progress for our nation but also a catalyst for change and genuine reform that will further bring our organization to greater heights,” said HHSG Commander Brig. Gen. Bienvenido Y. Regondola Jr.

The Guest of Honor and Speaker, Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto awarded and recognized the outstanding military personnel, civilian employees, and stakeholders of the HHSG.

The unit provides administrative, security, ceremonial services and service support functions as a complementary unit of the Headquarters of the Philippine Army.

Its nine units include the Headquarters Service Battalion, Military Police Battalion, Security and Escort Battalion, 1301st Dental Dispensary, Fort Bonifacio Housing and Facilities Management Center, Special Services Center, 1354th Dental Clinic, 9th Post Engineer Detachment and Army General Hospital. HHSG also has two operational control units which are the Philippine Army Task Group Bantay and the Command Signal Battalion.

“Among its many functions, the HHSG’s role as taskmaster for all standards, rules and policies that must be followed inside Fort Bonifacio is as much a reflection of its caliber as well as the discipline and professionalism of the Army as a whole. This will contribute significantly to our continuing transformation as we strive to achieve our vision of a world-class Army that is a source of national pride.” said Alberto.#
