MPW holds 2-Day Bayanihan Bangsamoro: Civil Society Solidarity Conference

Cotabato City (July 30, 2020)- The Mindanao Peace Weavers (MPW) held a two-day activity dubbed as “Bayanihan Bangsamoro: Civil Society Solidarity Conference on the civil society’s role in the peace process on July 29-30, 2020, in Cotabato City graced by some BARMM officials,

Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim delivered his keynote message via online teleconferencing to the participants consisting of peace advocates and members of Civil Society Organizations (CSO) from all over BARMM.

“To the various civil society organizations and institutions who, in one way or another, have contributed in the establishment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, your commitment in the Bangsamoro peace process speaks volumes on the importance of finding peaceful political resolution to the decades-long struggle of our people towards self-determination,” CM Ebrahim said. 

MBHTE Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal, also a Member of BTA Parliament, Public Works Minister MP Archt. Eduard Guerra, and Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Majority Floor Leader MP Atty. Lanang Ali Jr. also participated in the conference.
