Thousands of officers, enlisted personnel as well as their dependents and civilian running enthusiasts dashed to the finish line before the crack of dawn. Runners participated in the 3-kilometer, 5-kilometer, 7-kilometer, and 10-kilometer categories with the Saluting Battery of the Army Artillery Regiment firing a salvo to signal the release of each batch.
The four running routes followed major roads inside the Army’s main headquarters and adjacent roads in the Bonifacio Global City. Aside from civilian running enthusiasts, members of the Ayala Malls Vertis North Runners and the Urban Runners Philippines also participated in the activity.
