Vietnam People’s Armed Forces delegation visits HPA

 

 

A delegation from the Vietnam People’s Armed Forces led by Senior Colonel Tran Huu Dung, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Peoples Army Youth Committee, visited the Headquarters Philippine Army for the 2nd Philippines-Vietnam Junior Officer’s Interaction Program (PH-VN JOIP) on February 27, 2024 in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

 

Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba received Senior Colonel Trun and seven other officers who are part of the courtesy call and study tour. The Army Chief of Staff also led an information briefing for the visiting Vietnam People’s Armed Forces delegation.

 

The JOIP is an annual junior officer’s military-to-military activity hosted alternately by the AFP and the Vietnam People’s Armed Forces. The 2nd PH-VN JOIP is a six-day activity hosted by the AFP. It can be recalled that the 1st PH-VN JOIP was held in Hanoi, Vietnam on November 2019 with the AFP sending a 10-man delegation.
