Military vehicles from the Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR) of the Philippine Army spearheaded the transportation, repacking and distribution of relief goods to the beneficiaries of Brgy Payatas.
Personnel from the 11th Civil Military Operations Battalion, CMOR, barangay officials and volunteer residents of Barangay Payatas worked hand in hand in delivering the said goods to the recipients.
“Your Philippine Army will continue to assist individuals, groups or civilian organizations that provides assistance to our fellow Filipinos,” Army spokesperson Col Ramon Zagala said.
The distribution of relief packs is in line with the collaborative efforts of 2Lt. Guidicelli, Landers Superstore and Philippine Army in extending assistance to the affected families of Metro Manila in the duration of the enhanced community quarantine period. Through Guidicelli’s online fundraising concert “One Voice Pilipinas”, they were able to raise an amount of Php 4.8 Million resulting to three sets of donations of relief packs for the affected residents of Metro Manila.
The relief pack consists of 5 kgs rice, 4 assorted canned goods and 2 pcs cup noodles.
The barangay officials of Brgy Payatas expressed their gratitude to Landers Superstore, Matteo Guidicelli and the Philippine Army for the donated food packs that will alleviate the lives of the populace of said barangay.

delivered 1,500 relief packs for the residents of Payatas, Quezon City
yesterday, March 28, 2020.
The second set among the three sets of
donations from Landers Superstore has been transported and repacked at
the Covered Basketball Court, Brgy. Payatas, Quezon City.
